BUMP, September 9, 2011 By  Derick - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?) This review is from: Rockford Fosgate Punch Series P700-1bd 700w RMS Monoblock Amplifier (Electronics) This amp is GREAT! It was cheaper when I bought it, but still a great amp. Bought this to hook up a 1 ohm stable Alpine type R 12 where I previously had a Kenwood 1000 watt 2 ohm stable amp and this thing blows the Kenwood out of the water! Actually blew the Kenwood trying to make it work at 1 ohm. Hooked up 2 L7's on this amp to verify my 1 ohm setup on those speakers and it made my ears ring. None of my 1 ohm speakers get cooked or even warm hooked up to this amp. The neighbors a half mile away liked it so much they called the cops to come check it out ;).
