Hidden Hitch Round Tube Class III and IV Hitch Receivers have a low profile design to compliment the contours and aerodynamic styling of today's vehicles. These hitches are weight carrying (WC) and also are weight distributing (WD) hitches depending on the vehicle and hitch specifications. This round tube hitch with 2" receiver opening supports up to 6,000 pounds Weight Carrying and 600 pounds of Tongue Weight. This is a no drill application and reduces cutting of bumper and drilling. Hidden Hitches meet or exceed V5, VS, CSA and SAE J684 standards and are inspected for quality and workmanship. These hitches have a rust resistant black powder coating that provides an outstanding rust resistant appearance for years. These hitches attach to the vehicle frame only. Custom designed hitches are specific to vehicle type and model year for simple installation and superior fit.

This review is from: Hidden Hitch 70647 Round Tube Class III and IV Hitch Receiver (Misc.) Hitch fit my 97 Explorer with 16" spare perfectly and was easy to install. No drilling needed. Finish was rough and had dirt in the paint. It was shipped as is(no box)and was recieved all scratched up and two of the four lock washers were missing. After repainting and a trip to the hardware store to replace missing washers, the installation turned out OK. Hitch sits about two inches below bumper and is very visable from the rear. I think I would try another brand next time. This review is from: Hidden Hitch 70647 Round Tube Class III and IV Hitch Receiver (Misc.) Trailer hitch arrived in a timely fashion and in great condition. Installation was straight forward and easy to do, although it helps to have a second pair of hands to hold the hitch up while lining up the bolts. I have the 16 inch spare, so I had to lower the tire down a bit to get the hitch in place but she went together no problem.
